We host our solutions in Microsoft Azure. We run a web app service instance that has an HTTPS Certificate for communication between the application and our app service.
As soon as the password is transmitted into the app service it is encrypted with AES-256 encryption. The app uses a Standard Production ready instance of Azure Cache for Redis to momentarily hold the encrypted form of the password. All data kept in redis cache has a maximum lifetime of 300 minutes or 5 hours. For example passwords can last only for a minute to 300 minutes, it is configurable by the user.
When the user retrieves the password the web app service will decrypt it off the cache and send it back to the client app over HTTPS.
Please see additional info below:
From the Azure Cache for Redis site:
Azure Cache for Redis supports industry-standard SSL to secure your data in transit and
Azure Storage disk encryption at rest. Premium caches can be placed in your own Azure
Virtual Network (VNet) so that you can further restrict traffic routes to and from your
cache through your VNet topology and access policies. "
We host our solutions in Microsoft Azure. We run our service offerings using Serverless technologies.
Our password manager solutions uses a patent pending solution that allows the password itself to NOT be stored in the password manager for maximum security. At your choice, if you choose to store sensitive information in the Password Manager (such as, but not limited to, password, pin, record name etc.), these information is encrypted on the client-side using AES-256 encryption before sending across the network. We have no access to the key to decrypt your data. At rest, your information is stored in an encrypted format.
We may update this policy from time to time as our information practices are modified or changed. If we make any material changes to this policy that affect your personal information, we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
